At Ali Weiss, we only pierce ears!

This includes Lobes, Helix, Midway, Flat/Scapha, Conch, Upper or Stacked Lobe or Helix, Rook, Daithe, Tragus & Forward Helix.

No. All piercings must be done using our jewelry which is machine sterilized onsite to ensure the utmost cleanliness.

Our standard fee is $25 per piercing. For flat back and clicker hoops the fee is $35 per piercing. That does not include the cost of the jewelry which starts at $150 per earring and goes up from there!

We will not pierce anyone under the age of 5. Those under the age of 18 require a guardian to be present to sign for them—zero exceptions! The age at which we start piercing children is solely up to the discretion of our piercers - please call ahead if you are unsure of if your child is old enough.

All piercings are done with a single use sterile needle and other sterilized, single use medical grade tools. We prefer using a needle over a piercing gun because it's more accurate and hygienic and results in a quicker healing time.

This depends on the piercings and how many you get in the session. Typically ear lobes will heal in 8-10 weeks, and cartilage piercings take 6-8 months to fully heal. Everyone's body heals at a different rate. Certain piercings done with flat back jewelry or clicker hoops can take 6-10 months to fully heal.

’Regular’ or butterfly backing earrings are traditional earrings that are used for lobe piercings and some helix piercings. Flat back earrings are earrings that have a small flat disc or shape as the backing and have decorative tops that are all interchangeable with the post. Flat Back earrings are used for inner cartilage and more specific ear piercings. Feel free to reach out to our piercing team for more information or to figure out which option is right for you.
